The 6-weeks online course with Gael Doorneweerd-Perry from Flock Theatre on the topic of improvising in the genre of Hayao Miyazaki is coming back for a third edition in Spring 2021!

Every Saturday morning from Apr 17 to May 22, from 10:00 to 12:00 (CET).
Course via The Improv Place

These courses will be held on Zoom (latest update).

The classes will happen online and will be a combination of exercises, discussions, analysis of clips, and more. The goal of the course is to give tools in order to perform in the genre on stage (offline).
It is built around practicing skills in exercises, discussing the movies and their application on stage, and sharing with the group how we experience the worlds we create. It will not focus on online scenework.

Handouts, references and links will be given in addition to the classes.

I am truly excited to teach this online course again after the success of the first editions, as Hayao Miyazaki’s movies are some of my favorite, and as improvising in this genre is something I have been exploring a lot in the last few years. If you have any question, you are hesitant to join, you would like a scholarship or if you just want to nerd about Miyazaki, please contact me on facebook, instagram or by email.

See you very soon!
