About the workshops
When will signups for workshops open?
The workshop signups are now open!
This year, for the Nestling edition, we also have a new type of ticket: the Can’t Choose Workshop package! It is a ticket that gives you access to one of the workshops for the duration you book, without knowing which one yet, for a discounted price!
What if I want to be sure that I can take a particular workshop with a particular teacher?
That’s no problem, just sign up for the specific workshop. The Can’t Choose Package is meant for you if you are excited to discover something new!
But what if I want the discount?
About the shows
Is there a festival pass for the shows?
Not this year!
Because this year is focused on the festival community, we scheduled fewer shows, but also social activities.
You can book individually the shows, dinner, game, brunch, and join the community WhatsApp group to hear more about all the casual hangouts.
How can I perform at the Flock Festival?
This year, no organised stage time, as we focus on the social aspect. Now who is to say that there will not be a spontaneous jam happening one of the evenings?
About the festival’s logistics
Where will the festival take place?
We will host the festival in Amsterdam-Noord and more specifically in the amazing artistic area of NDSM.
All the shows will be held at Treehouse NDSM, and the workshops in the vicinity. The perfect way to discover Amsterdam with some sun and friends!
What if I want to help and volunteer?
Simply reach out to us! We are running this festival with volunteers only, and help is always welcome, so you’ll be absolutely welcome to join the team.

How about accommodation?
This year, we cannot organise the accommodation for all the visitors, but we can recommend you a few places in the neighbourhood if you reach out to us!
What are the dinner, brunch and social activities?
For the Nestling Edition of the Flock Festival, we decided to organise a smaller, cosier, community-focused festival. This means that we will have fewer workshops and teachers, and less shows scheduled. Really something ‘gezellig’ as we say in the Netherlands!
This means that we’ll have more space for other things though, including moments to just spend time together, hang out, play, etc. This will include, but non-exhaustively:
– An super yummy dinner (on Friday) with all the artists and participants
– A role playing game session organised by the best of all Jeroen (also on Friday)
– A closing brunch (on Sunday) to say good bye to everyone with some yummy treats
– Our usual array of ‘sjoelen’ and other games in the courtyard of Treehouse
– More to be announced in the community WhatsApp group!
