Can I take a trial class?

Of course! If you haven’t taken classes with us before, you can try out the course first. Sign up through the website, pay the course fee, and come to the first class of the course.

If, after that class, you decide it’s not a good fit after all, just contact us within 3 days of the first class and you’ll receive a full refund.

Can I pay in installments?

Absolutely, and we’ve made it extra easy—with no extra fees.

Here are your options:

  • You can pay in one lump sum using iDeal or a credit card.
  • You can pay in two installments. There are no extra fees for this.
  • You can pay monthly (in 10 installments) by becoming a member. You’ll also get a bunch of extra perks, like discounts!

Can I get an invoice?

Some participants treat the course fee as a business expense, claim a VAT refund (approximately €50–65), or have their employer cover the cost. If you need an invoice, please indicate this in the comments field when you register, along with your official invoice address. Or send us an email. Easy!

Do you accept Stadspas?

For our Improv Discovery workshops we do! Stadspas holders can take it for just € 2. Just send us an email, and we will send you a voucher code to sign up with.

Unfortunately, Stadspas decided to not accept more courses than their current offering. Meaning that the Flock offering couldn’t be added. We will keep trying to collaborate also on courses!

What if I can’t make it one time?

It happens—life gets in the way sometimes! If you know you’ll miss 1, 2, or 3 classes, don’t let that stop you from signing up. Just let us know in the comments field or via email. We always appreciate knowing in advance.

Will I fit in with the group?

The classes are open to everyone aged 16 and older. The groups typically range in age from 25 to 55, with most participants in their 30s. Improv isn’t limited by age, so you’re never too old or too young.

Most classes are consisting of approx. 60% women, but people of all genders are welcome. In our classes, it is not uncommon to have people who are neurodiverse (e.g., ADHD, autism, anxiety disorder), are dealing with burnout, menopause or depression, or have a physical disability (e.g., limited vision, reduced mobility).

Probably good to mention that our Amsterdam studio can only be reached by 1 flight of stairs. And that our Hilversum location is wheelchair friendly.

Improv is truly the kind of hobby that suits a wide range of people. So we’d love to have you too!
