Stel je voor: een podium waarop acteurs, muzikanten en een illustrator samen een verhaal bouwen — live, ter plekke, geleid door één dirigent die met handsignalen de voorstelling vormgeeft. Dat is Soundpainting.
Soundpainting is een reeks van meeslepende shows waarin theater, muziek, dans, beatbox en live illustraties samenkomen tot één groot, vloeiend geheel. Geen twee voorstellingen zijn hetzelfde. De scènes die je ziet, de muziek die je hoort, de tekeningen die voor je ogen ontstaan… Ze worden allemaal op het moment zelf gecreëerd.
Op vrijdag 1 mei is Soundpainting: Echoes of a Tale.
Twee performers wisselen moeiteloos tussen dirigeren en spelen, en ontvouwen samen één verhaal: over avontuur en poëzie, over kloppende harten en gebroken dromen. Filmisch en meeslepend: voor iedereen die zich wil laten raken, verrassen en af en toe hardop laten lachen.
Een originele creatie van David Moncada en Gael Doorneweerd-Perry, met een grote cast van internationale en lokale artiesten (muziek, dans, zang, acteren, beatbox en live illustraties).
Flock Theatre brengt deze internationale productie voor het eerst naar Zonnehuis, met toptalent uit binnen- en buitenland. De show is meertalig en vol energie. Je hoeft geen woord te begrijpen om geraakt te worden.

Soundpainting is a series of immersive shows in which theatre, music, dance, beatbox, and live illustrations come together into one large, fluid whole. No two performances are the same. The scenes you see, the music you hear, the drawings that appear before your eyes… They are all created in the moment.
On Friday 1 May, we present Soundpainting – Echoes of a Tale.
Two performers switch effortlessly between conducting and acting, unfolding a single story: about adventure and poetry, about beating hearts and broken dreams, about what makes us who we are. Either protagonist is the background character in the story of the other. Cinematic and immersive — for anyone who wants to be moved, surprised, and occasionally laugh out loud.

Flock Theatre brings this international production to Zonnehuis for the first time, featuring top talent from home and abroad. The show is multilingual and full of energy. You don’t need to understand a word to be moved.
