Imagine this. The fascinating history of Amsterdam Noord. Combined with top-drawer improvised theatre.
Flock Theatre will take you on a night full of stories from the local archives. You will enjoy a performance starring sailors, welders, ghosts, and people in hiding. And see important moments that happened in factories, swamps, cozy living rooms, and horrible gallows fields.
A wide variety of stories will be told by the passionate volunteers of Museum Amsterdam Noord and Historisch Centrum Amsterdam Noord. For this show, the stories will be told in Dutch, and translated by our translator into English.
The 10 professional actors of Flock Theatre will then create spontaneous theatre right in front of your eyes: scenes, sounds, movement, solos, and impressive group work inspired by the stories that are told. Ranging from beautifully poetic to incredibly hilarious.
The entire evening is scored with a soundtrack of catchy sailor songs. And a live accordionist.
Two truly unique evenings, which will make the way you look at the seemingly ordinary forever different.
After the show, the audience and performers will continue the stories, memories, and talks in the wonderful NDSM Café.
Tickets € 15
