Bloodline – Unscripted Theatre

‘Bloodline’ is an improvised theatre show about monarchs and kingdoms. Directed by our guest director Jenny Hasenack.

Close to the crown, the tension sometimes builds. In the inner circle of power, the world is full of ritual and ceremony: elaborate feasts, jousting tournaments and royals draped in gold. There are written and unwritten rules to follow, just for the chance to climb the social hierarchy.

But what happens when the masks come off? If the chambermaid finally snaps and yells at her queen?

What happens if the guard is in love with the king he is supposed to assassinate? If the knight is secretly scared of her own horse?

Bloodline is a theatre show about power, about losing control and about being human, even if that is -actually- not that convenient.

Get ready for some serious (and not so serious) diplomacy and betrayal, romance and scandal, and of course – the crown.

Past productions of Flock Theatre are Skin Hunger, Operations. Relations. Complications., I Will Survive, The True North, Transperceneige and The Matrix.
