ONE EVENING, THREE SHOWS
Written Lines
In the first show of the night, the participants of the workshop will perform an improvised piece inspired by spontaneously written monologues and their interpretation on the spot. This performance will be directed by theatre maker Martine Werners.
Wings
In this special show, you will have the opportunity to see the 4 main people of Flock Theatre: co-founders Laura and Gael, and new team members Jenny and Tanine. Each of them will surprise the others (and the audience) with true stories about one of the team members. An entertaining and wholesome collection of true stories, genuine responses and improvised scenes.
Object of Affection
Laura and Gael toured the world for—almost—a year with their acclaimed duoshow Object of Affection, and it is back for one special date in Amsterdam! Together with magnificent musician Hans Kuyken, they perform an impossible love story between 2 objects.
Laura and Gael are playing strong and physical characters to bring you a universal story of love and its obstacles. A show like a Pixar movie: sensitive, funny and never trivial.
“Object of Affection is a beautiful, sweet, funny, physical show full of heart and laughter created by two absolute masters of their craft. It can be easy for old improvisers like myself to get jaded but watching this show will make you feel like you’re watching improv for the first time all over again. It’s just that magical.”
— Kevin Gillese – Artistic Director of Dad’s Garage, Atlanta (USA)
This same weekend, our friends at Made For You Comedy are performing As Seen On TV. Do like us, and book yourself 2 nights of improv. More info is here.
The Flock show of 30 Sep will feature three shows: the showcase of Written Lines, followed by two professional shows— the improvised play Wings and the return of Object of Affection in Amsterdam!
