WORKSHOP SHOWCASE
The students of How To Play With Anyone will show on stage what they have learned in… How to play with anyone. Anyone in the audience (with and without improv experience) is invited to raise their hand to join. And the students will showcase how they have learned to make any scene partner look SO good.
A completely new show, improvised and with a cast existing for that night only!

For the second of the evening, we invite a local group to perform their very own show on our stage!
Backgammon by Ela&Yala
An Iranian and a Greek sit down to play a game of Backgammon. What follows is a slow-burn show full of personal stories, traditions, gossip, family values and strong emotions dipped in traditional music and seasoned with Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern spices. Leave all prejudice at the door!

Ela&Yala met in Amsterdam in 2020 at a silent improv class. What brings them together is their mutual love for exploring improv through the lens of their cultural background which they hold very close to their hearts. They’ve developed a thirst to bring on stage those everyday characters that they know all too well from growing up in Greece and Iran and let them tell their stories, stories that we don’t usually see on an improv stage and are so unique but also deeply relatable.
Tanine Dunais and Christianna Tsigkou between them share more than 10 years of improv experience, including participating in festivals and teaching workshops.
