Are you up for playing scenes with big emotions, secret revelations, and a nice dose of [dun dun dunnn] drama? Then you’re in the right place in this new improvised theater course.

We will work with all the feels: jumping in them with abandon and then discovering how to turn them into lovely, dramatic scenes that are as fun to play as they are to watch.

You will learn how to act out different emotions (without necessarily feeling them), how to dose, and how playing the unexpected emotion sometimes gets the best results. I mean, how enjoyable is it when, after a proposal, the character responds with paranoia instead of joy?

So if you are excited to improvise long and short scenes with realistic secrets on the one side, and larger-than-life situations on the other side, then you’re a perfect fit.

You can count on Tuesday nights with lots of play, a fun group (ranging from a little to a lot of experience), and plenty of drama, but only in the scenes.
