Then Improvisation for Beginners is the perfect course for you. You don’t have to know anything about theatre or improv—that’s exactly what you’ll learn here.
In improvisational theatre, you never know how a scene will end when it begins. Anything can happen! Together with your group, you’ll create something surprising that makes everyone shine.
In this course, you will learn to listen closely to others, embrace mistakes, and let go of control. You’ll work with your group to create fun and unexpected scenes, discovering the joy of surprising yourself—and leaving each class with a smile.
This course is designed for anyone new to improv. No experience is required, just basic English knowledge.
The teacher of this course is Jeroen: he is an experienced improviser who loves storytelling in all its forms. He enjoys diving deep into subjects, finding out what makes them work and why. He also loves dogs, woodworking, and whisky.
Within Flock, Jeroen has played in multiple main-stage productions, including The True North and the current play Polar Nights.
