Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Monty Python are known for their physical comedy, slapstick skills and absurd situational humor. But what about improvising in this style?
Gael has made physical comedy one of the staples of his improv throughout the years with shows like Just Play or the Fraltons with his French groups, and more recently What Remains with Diego Ingold. Using mime, soundeffects and few words, we will explore how to create a scene together, and how to refine that scene. We will work towards finding the balance between the fun and silly, as well as making sure that the audience—and our partners—can understand what’s happening!
Get ready to apply your visual skills into scenes that people will remember.
