In this course for experienced improvisers, you will learn how to improvise a serial narrative longform. This means: every time you will play one episode from a longer series.
The story will take place at a high-stakes workplace. One week you will play at a law firm, another week at a Michelin-star restaurant, an oil rig, or a fashion designer.
This will allow for thrilling work situations, where we keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Next to that, every episode will be full of personal dramas, and (secret) relationships between the handsome characters.
The teacher of this course is me, Laura, and I have directed multiple shows about workplaces and love, like the Flock production ‘Operations. Relations. Complications.’ I know what a fun challenge it is to alternate between being a professional and a lover. But once you own this skill, you can apply it in many more types of improv.
