You want to explore how your body can be used on stage to to improvised theatre? You have seen some shows (the Fraltons, Speechless, Just Play, etc.) and you would like to learn how to improvise with less to no words?
This course is for you! Built on Gael’s experience of speechless improv, you will explore the possibilities given when you stop talking and you focus on the visual informations. With the help of music as a support and inspiration source, and a good exploration of the visual techniques—mime, spacework and soundeffects—you will learn the skills needed to improvise without words. The course can be seen as the first part of three semesters: visual and silent improv techniques, — Scenework and — Silent Play.
