Would you like to give improv a try? Are you up for a weekly moment of getting out of your head, learning new skills, and making theatre?
In this course for beginners, you will learn some of the basic principles of improvisational theatre: spontaneity, a ‘yes and’ attitude, and inspire your partner. (To name just a few.)
Every class you will be offered fun, active exercises to discover new sides of yourself and feel comfortable playing on stage. You don’t need to be funny, be a quick thinker, or have a flexible body. Just show up and join a wonderful group of playful folks.
Improv is great for anyone that wants to learn how to let go (hello, my fellow control freaks!), how to be in the moment, and how to create theatre without a script.
The class will be taught by Laura in English. No need to be fluent: the group mostly consists of players for whom English is their second language.
