Improv for beginners – Let there be fun

“Improvisation should be as easy, sweet and joyful as singing a lullaby for a sleepy baby” – Philip Gaulier

And this will be basis of everything that this course offers: The joy

This course is for beginner improvisers. Whether you are new to improvisation or just brushing up. From the quiet ones to the more confident. We will work on the core fundamentals of improvisation and spontaneity and uncover skills you didn’t know you had. We will rediscover our childlike joy and playfulness and combine them with basic improv skills in order to improvise and act on the stage.

You’ll learn about the power of “yes and”, get better at adapting to changing environments and situations, improve your listening and communicating skills, discover basic acting skills for stage performance and build an awesome ensemble with your fellow classmates to finally perform in front of the audience on the last class.

This course is designed for anyone new to improv. No experience is required only basic English knowledge.

The teacher of this course is Tanine and her style of teaching is based on including everyone no matter where they come from or  how good their English is. She has developed her own style for helping people to find their joy and comfort despite their cultural background and stories. To find and show the beautiful human in everyone.
